Tearing into the shop Oh My am I making messes but loving the changes!!

Moved this cupboard top yestarday and got the top decked out for Christmas!

New Group!

Well I started moving things around. Love how the new pieces look in this group! The butcher block is sold but I get to look at it for a while so I moved it up front. Going to be reworking the shop and making what is left of Christmas look better Gotta get going now!Enjoy your day!!

 

Got this great oyster colored buther block last week!! Love it! I am going to work on putting it in a group with the new cupboard!! Moved all the green pieces to the back this morning and I am putting this group up by the counter. What is so nice about this is you can actually sit at it. It is nice table height and it is not horribly heavy like some I have had. Love the shape and the old paint. Getting some great ideas going with this new stuff. Have to start playing with the furniture again.!! Lots of great Christmas left but it is going out the door with everyone decorating now!

New Cupboard

Well I thought I better write something today since I got asked by three people that had  checked out my blog and noticed I had not written for quite a while. Just as I was ready to write google told me I had to pay for an upgrade to post more pictures. Just got that done tonight! Had a busy thanksgiving week and feeling ready to change the whole shop around. Just not sure where to start. Brought this great screen front cupboard in today! I thought it was putty colored but today it looked a little green to me. Not quite sure but love the old latch and cut out bottom.  It is a nice size! Not too large but just right for many areas!! Still trying to figure out what I can do to fix a grouping around it!! I am feeling the need to shake up the shop but I know what a mess I make when I start this and dragging my feet on making such a mess. Lots of great gift ideas still in the shop  so stop in for decorating and gift ideas!

New pickings from up north!! Getting ready for the big Holdiay doings on Main this weekend.

The early potatoe peeling chair looks great in the corner. It came from West Virginia!! I have the next two days off and heading north to do some picking on Sunday!! Shop will be open!!

Brought up this little table to add to the foot of the bed!! Just got in this book press that attatches to the table. Early old wood screws to tighten it. The old sifter is holding some pears! This room turned out great but now I have mounds outside!

New look

Started doing some cleaning today! Got the little room upstairs all redone and cleaned. Loved how it turned out!! Took out the minnow buckets and made it more like a log cabin!! Love how it turned out but I sure made a mess everywhere else!!

New Stuff!!

Mama and baby are back! Just arrived !! They look great all winter!! Redoing some of the grouping where things are selling from!!

Just got in these long skinny red stocking full of greens. Look great on peg rack!!

I love old early mortars!! Can you tell? Just arrived many new dry attic finish mortars!! Some have old iron bands!! The real large one in the other photo sold today!! This is what is left!! Love them!! Trying to fit in all the new prims!!

Well have finally found several attic finish mortars!! They are wonderful!! Nice old dry finish and a great selection!! Lots of Christmas is going out the door as people start to decorate!!

 

We are adding many wonderful primitives to the shop this week! We have been out gathering for several days and will be adding more daily. This is a group of two early treen compotes an early matchholder and the tray they are on was used to dry apples!! The match holder sold this morning!

Fresh Pickins!!

I have been in the shop nonstop for almost two weeks. Have the next two days off for some Me time!! Shop will be open regular hours. The Choir is singing carols to welcome you!!

This old farm piece came in from the window and had great fun redoing it. The place is looking better but lots more to tidy up!!

Mama and baby went north today so moved the big guy in the window!! He looks amazing in there!!

New Window

Started redoing the window today into a lodge theme. Lots of soft northern pines. Have some wonderful old green skis with metal repair and tomorrow I have a most amazing piece to add. You will just have to wait and see. We have live window displays the Friday after Thanksgiving so I am getting ready for that!

Thank you to all the wonderful customers that came to our Holiday Open House!! Several people traveled far and spent the nite! It was an amazing sucess!! I am just showing a few of the things that remain!! Plenty of choices to go to new homes!! Will be reworking the shop this week. We have live window displays the Friday nite after Thanksgiving so I have to get working on that. Lots of new ideas buzzing through my head so it will probably all look different next time you stop!! Lots of new customers stopped in so it was a great weekend!! Keep checking out as we get everything changed around again!!

Santa rode in on his reindeer today!! He is waiting by the door to greet all the customers tomorrow!! This elf has been busy getting things in order!! Holiday Open House this weekend at  Gatherings Anamosa Iowa  Starts tomorrow!! The shop is loaded with Holiday Cheer!!
