Runnin!!

Keeping very busy this week! Have to unload this cupboard in the morn  as it is going to a new home. Two more sold yesterday! Good thing I was able to get one piece last night at the auction. Hoping to find some more things this weekend. Got lots of piles on the floor cleaned up today! Had nice friends stop from out of state for their birthday. They were able to find a few treasures!! Life is really crazy right now getting things done for Open House!! Gotta Run!!

Fall!

Spent the morning digging out under my counter!! Oh My what a mess!! I always tend to just shove things out of sight and they get buried,. It is so much more organized for now at least! This big guy is perfect for fall as he fills out a chair perfect! Got these three little pumpkins in. They are a smaller version of what I had before that I sold out of. Only have the three!! Got in a pickup load of cornstalks today and was busy filling kegs and barrels. Now if we would just get a chill in the air I would love it!!

Got this old pine cupboard reset this afternoon! It is a simple piece with square nails and brown red paint. Someone probably make it for storage many years ago!! Filled it with fall prims. Just got the heavy old trencher the other day!! It has a tin patch and I filled it with gourds!! The bag on the door is great for florals or as a bowl holder!! Large pumpkin guy is overlooking my work. I think today was antiquers day in the shop. Many old friends stopped in almost all at the same time. Have to give  a shout out to Dale as it was his birthday today!! Really tearing into the shop today to get ready for Fall Open House!! Lots of movin and shakin. Lots to finish up yet. Unpacked another box of fall goodies!! Getting them all marked and put out!!

Runners and rugs!! Getting new fall colors in!! Is the season to warm up the house with the colors of fall!! My favorite season of course!! I will be in the shop tomorrow and off Sunday!!Still trying to get all the new things out. Picked up this mustard cupboard top on our trip out east!! Works great with the runners!

I am getting all my pumpkins in a row!! But let me tell you the rest of the place needs alot of help!!

Broom maker

Left work early today as had to make a quick run to pick this great piece up!! It is dated 1870's and has blue green paint. Need to clean it up yet so will not be in the shop until I get back from trip! Will be leaving Tues and not back until late Friday. Hours this week will be 11-4 Will be getting lots of new goodies for Fall Open House Sept.7-9 Can hardly wait!! I am probably going to fill this with Christmas I can see a tree on bottom ledge and the top piece full of snowmen!! What fun!! Will be there in time for Open House!!
